Goodman Masson is the largest Independent Financial Recruiter in the UK and has been recruiting professionally qualified accountants and other finance professionals for over 18 years. This has remained at the core of our brand. Situated in the centre of London, Goodman Masson was originally established by Paul Goodman in 1993. We recognise that it’s our people that make us a market leader which is why we invest heavily to attract and retain the best. We have an uncompromising approach to only hiring world class individuals and with a team of over 130 we hold annual revenues exceeding £24m. We were awarded ‘Growth Company of the Year – 2010’ at the annual Recruitment International Awards with Gross Margin passing £10.2m in 2010 compared to £6m in 2009. In this same period our profit increased from £211,000 to £1,250,000. Permanent placements account for 70% of our Gross Margin with the remainder coming from the 300 Finance temps we have working for us. On February 24th 2011 we were ranked 2nd overall in the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For, and 1st in a range of sub categories. As a newcomer this is an unprecedented performance. In May 2011 we were named the Best Professional Services Recruitment Agency at the Recruiter Awards for Excellence 2011. We operate purely within the specialism of Finance. This includes Accountancy, Tax, Audit, Risk, Treasury, Actuarial, Public Sector, Management Consultancy, Banking Operations and Front Office. Our client base crosses the Banking & Financial Services, Commerce, Consulting and Private Practice and areas of Public Sector markets and in 2010 we worked on 4,915 vacancies in 1,891 separate organisations covering permanent and temporary appointments. Our growth has been built around our ability to deliver to our client base and in 2010 we interviewed 6,391 finance professionals in our offices.
