Paul Goodman - Founder & Board Director - Paul has worked in recruitment since 1983 and formed Goodman Masson in 1993. His background is in the recruitment of qualified accountants into the Commerce & Industry markets. His extensive experience includes recruitment of Finance Directors across numerous industries and locations and many large scale finance function recruitment projects. He has built and run a variety of recruitment teams. Paul is regularly published across a variety of professional journals in the UK and internationally and has served on the executive of APSCo (the Association of Professional Staffing Companies) Running a series of professional events for Goodman Masson, leads the company’s CPD program for aspiring finance professionals and also runs a series of workshops to support Finance Directors made redundant in the recession.

Avi Bradman - Chairman - Avi is Chairman at Goodman Masson, after joining the company in 1998 as Financial Controller. Avi completed a Genetics B.Sc. and an Epidemiology M.Phil, later qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. It was after completing his ACA qualification that he joined Goodman Masson. He quickly realised that recruitment provided an ideal environment– the fast pace that the business operates at, the range and variety of challenges and experiences, the people it provided the opportunity to work with and the wonderful energy that a successful recruitment business generates. It matched perfectly what he wanted from his professional career. Since starting on a nine month contract at Goodman Masson, Avi has held the positions of Financial Director, Chief Executive and now Chairman.

Guy Hayward - Chief Executive Officer - Guy is CEO at Goodman Masson and has 13 years recruitment experience. Following a year travelling in Africa and teaching Soccer and Archery in Boston USA, Guy joined the Graduate Training Programme at News International before moving to the Lloyds of London Insurance market a year later where he sold advertising and sponsorship to the Risk Management and Legal communities in Singapore and Malaysia. Guy spent a further two years in this role before moving into recruitment. Starting as a Researcher recruiting Lawyers into Financial Services, Guy spent 11 years at Hudson where he became Managing Director. His responsibilities ranged from running the Banking, UK Finance and London businesses before moving to Goodman Masson as CEO in November 2008.

Andrew Michael - Managing Director - Andrew has worked in the recruitment industry for 14 years, and has personally recruited in a number of different sectors including Investment Banking, Insurance and Media. Joining Goodman Masson in February 2009, Andrew is responsible for Permanent recruitment. His business consists of over 50 permanent recruiters operating across Banking & Financial Services, Commerce and Public Sector. Goodman Masson has a unique approach to sector specialisms and Andrew continues to lead and drive our industry sector groups.

Chris Porges - Director, Temporary Business - Chris started his career at Lloyds Stockbrokers before moving into advertising with a specialist online agency and ended his advertising career working in-house for Associated News. Chris entered into recruitment 6 years ago as trainee consultant recruiting Accountants into Commerce & Industry with Marks Sattin. After building successful teams across different sectors both temp and perm Chris moved to Goodman Masson in Sept 2009. .

Richard Hoar - Director, Banking & Financial Services - Richard has 11 years recruitment experience all of which has been focussed on the financial markets and is the co-founder of Goodman Masson’s specialist banking and financial services practice. During his time with the firm Richard has successfully executed mandates across all of our specialist product offerings including the front office, risk and finance. As well as leading our capabilities in Banking Richard acts as Account Director for all our tier 1 Banking clients.

John Lawson - Head of Finance & Operations - John has 10 years of finance experience within in the recruitment industry and joined Goodman Masson back in 2004. As the head of Finance and Operations John heads up a sales support network of 20 including admin, IT and finance, specialising in budgeting and forecasting.

Darren Williams - Associate Director - Darren boasts 13 years financial recruitment experience, the last 6 of which have been spent with Goodman Masson. Darren’s role is predominately billing focused and additionally encompasses the account management of some of our biggest accounts. In addition to billing responsibilities Darren is a member of the Senior Management team working on various initiatives including cross-selling, training, and developing key accounts. He works very closely with the director of temp recruitment to help drive sales and define strategy for the division.
