Guy Hayward

I’ve been married for eight years, having proposed to Sasha at the top of Mount Kilimanjaro a year before we married in December 2004. We live in Balham with Cosmo Basil aged seven, Amber Rose aged three and a half and a very overweight ginger cat called Bumble.

 

I love my dance and house music which means if the kids haven’t jumped into bed to wake me in the morning Hed Kandi does at around 6:30am.

My day starts by climbing on my bike. The decision a couple of years back to ditch the Northern line in favour of cycling has made the commute from Balham a whole different experience. About 8 miles, it takes around 30 minutes and it’s a great way to start the day.

I’m normally at my desk just after 8 and my working week tends to be split into sales, building our brand and ensuring we create a unique working environment for everyone...and I love this mix. Our client base is one of the strongest in London, we are now a leading brand and our approach to employee engagement is second to none. Achievements we are all hugely proud of and continue to evolve.

I’m fortunate to have a wonderful team around me which I find an invaluable comfort. Surrounding yourself with people you trust, I have always said, is the key to any successful business.

We’re on an exciting journey and I often reflect in the evenings at home (and always with a glass of wine), how much fun we have. I love who we are and what we do.

The week always seem to fly by and I look forward to my weekends. Both Sasha and I love sport and the outdoors which is often our itinerary...together with an endless list of dinner party invites. When we’re indoors Cosmo and I do enjoy leaving booby traps for Sasha and Amber...I’m sure they’ll have their revenge.
