Our first two years inside the Top Ten
One of our Strategic objectives is to be widely regarded as the Number One business to work for in London and 'The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work for' is a good bench mark against achieving that objective.
We were awarded with a 3 star accreditation (defined as 'Extraordinary') and ranked number 8 in this year's awards. We're delighted with our second consecutive year of holding a top ten position.
At the award ceremony we were one of the three companies short-listed for the 'Wellbeing Award' which is presented to the organisation which provides the most supportive working environment, with an emphasis on relieving stress and improving the work / life balance. We need to continue to evolve our approach to Wellbeing so that we come home with the trophy next year.
The Sunday Times commented on our market leading 'Benefits Boutique' which is our approach to flexible benefits - we help our people buy a house, buy an extra 5 days holiday, take out home improvement and car loans and take advantage of our knowledge fund which has allowed people to take music and driving lessons.
They also complimented us on our unique approach to employee engagement with our 'More to life than Work' programme leading our industry for creativity with Pilates, Jewellery making, Photography, Wine Tasting and Art lessons taking place in work time.
These are just some of the reasons we believe 'The Experience' or working at Goodman Masson is unique. We now need to continue our journey to reaching the number 1 spot.
We won't stop until we do.
