Chill Out Zone

The 7th floor used to house our Finance and Operations team. We didn’t like that so we moved them to sit amongst the sales teams , bought in the builders and decorators and turned the 7th floor into The Chill Out Zone. We now love it!

What is it…? It’s a room for all of us to use at any time during the day. A 42” plasma TV connects to Sky and the resident Wii, there is Wi-Fi access for the various notebooks, bright sofa’s and bean-bags are scattered around, the table football and the darts board host matches most days, giant Jenga and giant Connect 4 sit next to the Hall of Fame, a trouser press and hair straighteners add the finer touches, the vending machines supply the chocolate and drinks and the various poser tables host daily meetings. On Guy’s request the TV is always on and the walls are covered with photos of what we all get up to.

That all happened in 2010, and at the start of 2011 we realised were outgrowing the most popolar plase in the office, so further renovations too place to create more room and in moved the pool table! We shouldn’t forget that every Friday at 4.45 pm we have ‘Beer Friday’ when you can down tools and pop up to the Chill Out Zone for a cold glass of wine, beer or Smirnoff Ice.
