Workplace Pension Reform 2012 - where will the cost fall?

Employers in the UK face significant increases in costs and administration because of new workplace pensions rules due to be introduced in October 2012.
Guest speaker Steve Bee tackled the following key questions head on including: How will this impact on the composition of the existing company pension scheme? What will be the additional cost of mandatory minimum contribution rates? What will be the additional administrative burden? And what will be the cost of automatically enrolled increased membership?

Mock Tribunal
Speaker: Elizabeth Lang, Employment Partner at Bird & Bird LLP
An interactive insight for HR professionals into what really happens at an employment tribunal.
The hearing focused on a claim of unfair dismissal and discrimination following a redundancy. It featured all major stages of a hearing including opening submissions, witness evidence and cross examination, before a decision is reached. It took the form of a workshop and attendees had the opportunity to discuss key aspects of the case with employment lawyers as it progressed.
