Associations and Affiliations
The Goodman Masson leaders have spent 16 years shaping our profile and reputation, both in the recruitment market and as a nationally operating business. As a result of our hard work, high standards and commitment to the highest level of service delivery we have achieved affiliations with many of the market leading and national bodies. In order to maintain these relationships we regularly audit and evaluate the service levels required by each and the fluidity of our unique business model allows us to immediately implement necessary changes and improvements when required. You will find a range of affiliations below, from recruitment standards, through to business standards and industry specific associations that place us in the market as specialist in our field.
REC – The Recruitment and Employment Federation is the over-reaching body that regulates and informs the recruitment industry. REC offers us an extensive range of services and benefits, including a Legal Service, specialist sector and regional support, news and information through various channels and value added commercial services. More importantly we can make sure that our business and the recruitment industry as a whole is effectively represented to both UK and EU governments.

C2E – Since 2003 we have maintained our affiliation with C2E. Their advisors provide Good Practice Change models for Business to adopt, and we are therefore able to monitor and improve standards relating to Age, Disability, Ethnic or national origin, Gender, Race, Religion and Sexual orientation. We are kept up to date with legislation changes which are then communicated across the company to promote an environment of inclusion, both when we recruit for our clients, and when we hire internally.

Gold Standard, Diversity Works for London – We are currently undergoing appraisal to achieve the Gold Standard, which is applied to our honest and open capability to systematically review our business and performance against best practice. From the point of registration we have received guidance and advice where gaps exist within our Diversity Plan, and have formulated a strategic plan of action to enhance the equality and diversity practices and business performance within Goodman Masson. The Gold Standard process looks at our practices addressing all aspects of business performance including workforce, workplace, marketplace and suppliers, and is specifically tailored to SMEs.

Investors in People – We have been an accredited member of IiP since 2003. In order to achieve this we had to implement and substantiate robust practices focusing on the culture and quality of our work environment. IiP supports our own business plan and ensures we can maximise performance. The process was grueling as IiP promotes an exceptionally high standard on a national scale, and we worked hard to ensure that our standards met those required by IiP, whilst maintaining our individual ethos and strategy. We can now safely say that our best practice is reflected by the best business and employers in the country.

Buying Solutions – We are a member of the highly sought-after Public Sector procurement framework. 6 months of hard work paid off when we were accepted onto the framework against competition from most of our competitors, many of whom did not make the cut. Buying Solutions manages the procurement of over 40 key clients within the Public Sector and therefore maintains a high level of consistency and quality throughout the sector. Our affiliation with Buying Solutions promotes us a market leading Public Sector recruitment business.
