The relationship between our actuarial division and our banking division means we have access to a much wider client base increasing the number of non-traditional opportunities that we currently have. General Insurance (GI) Goodman Masson works with General Insurance companies, Lloyds Syndicates and GI Consultancies. We have extensive experience of working with Junior Trainees, Statisticians, Qualified Actuaries, Chief Actuaries and Partners. We regularly keep in touch with every employer of GI actuaries in the UK and our affiliation with an international recruitment agency means that we can service overseas clients and candidates. Life Insurance Goodman Masson works with Life and Health Insurance companies, Reinsurers and Life Consultancies. We have successfully assisted in the recruitment of Junior Trainees, Qualified Actuaries, Chief Actuaries and Partners. We have extensive contacts with nearly all actuaries in the UK and Ireland, enabling us to keep abreast of the changing nature of the industry for the benefit of both our clients and candidates. We have a number of consultants with extensive experience of working in this market place. As an organisation we regularly attend conference and conventions in order to keep up to date with changing regulations. We have sponsored the Life convention and have organised a number of Actuarial events. Pensions Goodman Masson Actuarial deal with numerous vacancies within the Pensions arena, these include typical pensions consulting roles from Graduate to Partner level at the Big 4 Accounting firms, the major Pensions and Benefits Consultancies together with some of the smaller niche players and the Pensions areas of Life companies. We also handle opportunities for Actuaries with a Pensions background to move to in-house roles and into Investment Banking or into other actuarial areas (i.e. GI, Life or Investments).
