How We Work
In the most basic terms our role is to find you the best candidates for your roles and to make the process of selecting and hiring them as simple as possible. To ensure we provide the highest quality candidates we have developed one of the UK’s leading databases of professionally qualified personel. We are also specialists at identifying the most appropriate and successful methods of candidate sourcing. In addition you must have confidence in us to deliver a successful recruitment process, which is why we focus on retaining the best consultants in the industry. The consultants you deal with will be experienced professionals who all take part in a market leading training and development programme.
Two-way communication is imperative so that minimal time is spent clarifying aspects of the role or the process. This allows clients to gain the benefit of our expertise and experience in dealing with other leading organisations. Consultants that understand your business, culture and personality fit are also important in making sure that we select the right candidates; individuals who fit the role as well as your company.
Our Services
Our Account Managers work closely with their clients to establish where we can add value through the provision of both standard recruitment and additional services. We are prepared to do as much as is necessary to remove the burden of the recruitment process while still allowing for essential client input into candidate selection. We provide a full range of value added services to our clients and have provided all of the following in the past: salary benchmarking and surveys, departmental structuring, creating job descriptions, advice on structuring salary packages, on-site interviewing, running assessment days, arranging for additional testing of candidates, writing advertising copy, free advertising including mailshots and media buying, . We specialise in adding this sort of value to our relationships with clients – it’s what makes us unique.
Our service is quality led and comprehensive with a commitment to delivering solutions that is absolute. There are many different ways to recruit candidates but, for each project, there is clearly an ideal way. Our expertise, flexibility and awareness of the need for cost effective policies means we can advise on the ideal course of action.
Database Search: We provide a shortlist of suitable candidates from our extensive database of active applicants, all of whom have been evaluated and interviewed in depth.
Advertising and Project Management: Where a database search is inappropriate Goodman Masson are retained to handle the recruitment campaign in its entirety. This invariably includes initial advice on recruitment criteria, the remuneration package, targeting and drafting copy, design and placing advertisements, direct mail promotions and making personal approaches to targeted individuals.
Search: A service designed to meet requirements that are particularly unusual, specific or demanding. In these cases we take a detailed audit and brief and, using our extensive network and considerable marketing expertise, pinpoint those few individuals or, perhaps, even that one person, who can best meet a client's criteria.
