Job description
A global oil company with head offices in Central London is urgently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant with a working knowledge of SAP to join their busy finance team on a 3-6 month contract basis with the potential for a permanent role after this time.
The key responsibilities in this role will include:
- processing accounts payable invoices, dealing with urgent supplier queries and putting through payments.
- posting accruals and prepayments
- general ledger coding.
- assisting with a systems changeover from Sun Accounts to SAP
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced accounts payable clerk with working knowledge of SAP (essential) - ideally you will hold a minimum of a 2:1 graded degree in a finance related subject and will be looking to progress into a management accounting role within the next 1-2 years.
