An opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join the Projects team of a large Investment Bank based in the city.
Joining a small team this is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to take on a varied role that will enable them exposure to the full project lifecycle.
The role itself will include mapping of accounts, assisting in the preparation of parallel runs and carrying out user support and training.
More specific day to day responsibilities will include:
• Mapping of current accounts into the new accounts system
• Carrying out a review of the proposed mapping with business experts and obtaining sign off
• Liaising with other teams within IT and Finance to resolve outstanding issues
• Specification of the business requirements for systems enhancements as required
• Assisting with the training of Finance users in the new processes and procedures
• Provide post go-live user support as required
The successful candidate will be ACCA qualified (or equivalent) and will have previously worked on General Leger data mapping projects, ideally within an Investment banking environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are key as you will be required to regularly communicate with IT and Finance users.
You will be a proactive and diligent individual with an excellent eye for detail and the ability to effectively work to tight deadlines. Goodman Masson is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
