An opportunity has arisen for a Business Manager to join a top tier Investment Bank based in the city.
Joining a small team this role provides an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to get hands on experience of all aspects of budgeting and forecasting and people management.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
• General Financial Management for the group
• Monthly Financial reporting at project level, analytics and a detailed understanding of the Group
• Escalating and communication of cost variances, budget constraints
• Annual budget co-ordination with the business and Project set up where necessary
• Governance of all financial processes across the group
• Headcount resource reporting and analysis
The successful candidate will be ACCA qualified (or equivalent) and will have prior Business Management experience ideally within an Investment Banking environment.
You must have excellent prioritisation skills and able to produce high quality output on a timely basis whilst working in an environment with various work-streams and demands in place simultaneously.
Solid financial experience and good understanding of accounting principles and budgeting processes are key as are strong Excel skills. Goodman Masson is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
