Job description
A leading multi-sector company is looking to recruit a qualified Accountant to join their team and work on their hospitality contracts.
Reporting into the Finance Director, the key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Ensuring all project costs and related recharges are accounted for on a monthly basis
• Provide forecast v actuals variance analysis of contract costs and recharged costs for individual contracts to the Sales Director.
• Work with contract leads to ensure that each project has a robust full life forecast for costs and related recharges, and is tracking to related business case.
• Provide financial information on a timely basis to the project team leaders focusing on the quarterly forecast and yearly review process.
• Ensure that any risks/uncertainties are appropriately highlighted to various stakeholders.
• Attendance at contract meetings.
As the successful candidate you will be a fully qualified accountant with the requisite technical accounting and analytical skills particularly from a project background and have recent experience in a commercial business. You will have the ability to use and reconcile systems. You will have a proven track record of ability to drive improvement across process, systems and people and be successful at working independently and will also work well and add value to the team.
