A truly exciting position that is notably rare has become available with a Top 10 internationally ranked firm, operating worldwide and providing services to international funding institutions such as the EU Commission, UN and World Bank.
The role will suit candidates with a sense of adventure and a love of travel, both attributes that are crucial to auditing internationally funded projects, located throughout the world. A successful candidate could find themselves working in a close knit team in Europe or leading an exciting audit in Asia, Africa or Latin America. The work is principally expenditure audits of projects funded by international funding institutions in a range of sectors from emergency aid, to long term development in areas such as agriculture, health or infrastructure, to more commercial projects such as SME development or technical research.
As an audit senior your responsibility in this position will range from planning on site audit work, leading and training an audit team and report writing, while taking overall responsibility and ownership of the job.
There is an excellent career path in this rapidly expanding field of work which can involve a gradual move to more UK-based management role or alternatively an overseas posting to one of the firm’s IFI branch offices in Africa, Asia or Latin America.
The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent; have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to adapt to communicating in different cultures. One foreign language is desirable (French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian). Willingness to travel up to 60%, while based in Central London and good report writing skills would be ideal.
