Job description
Role Responsibilities:
•Using sophisticated, be-spoke models and systems (SQL Server, MS Access, VBA) provide analytical support to more senior members of the organisation.
•Identify specific enhancements to modelling techniques, using programmatic skills to develop and maintain automated reporting solutions.
•Consider and refine methodologies/forecasting and modelling techniques.
•Support assumptions for business plans/forecasting.
•Deal with more complex issues and carry out detailed statistical investigations into specific business performance issues.
•Carry out financial evaluations, where required
Essential Requirements:
•SQL Server Database Development
•Excellent Microsoft Access and Excel automation skills
•Visual Basic programming
•Part Qualified Accountant or equivalent
•At least 2 years experience in a UK retail Banking environment
