Job description
My client, a leading international IT business based in central London is looking for a management accountant to join their busy and expanding team. The company has enjoyed huge success over the past years and now works with many of the FTSE100 and a number of bluechip business.
The role will be working to assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts for UK&I entities, including making journal entries, accruals, prepayments.
This will include:
-Preparation of the monthly reconciliations for all UK&I business units and work alongside the UK&I Controller in preparation of monthly, quarterly and year end financial reporting.
Part of this role is also to prepare ad hoc analysis as and when required by the business or the finance team.
The successful candidate will be currently working in an assistant accountant/management accountant or financial accountant and looking to develop their career within a large global business. Blue chip/FTSE100 experience is advantageous but not essential however you need to be confident in delivering financial information to senior member of staff and be able to work in large teams. You must be degree educated (or equivalent) with a strong academic history and have started either ACCA or CIMA.
