Tax Trainee - London
Are you motivated to follow a career in tax but are yet to qualify?
This UK company is offering the chance to fill a varied and broad corporate tax role whilst also funding your route to a CTA qualification. You will be part of a market-leading firm with annual revenue over £1billion.
The Role
• Preparation and submission of the yearly corporation tax returns to HMRC.
• Calculation of tax payments due for each of the companies.
• Preparing all tax aspects of year end statutory accounts
• Tax calculations for any budgets and forecasts prepared by the finance team.
• Being involved in providing tax advice, and calculating tax liabilities for specific projects and transactions as they arise.
• Researching specific technical issues as and when the need arises.
• Development of database of tax knowledge acquired from the compliance and advice work carried out.
Qualifications/Experience required
• Intelligent individual motivated to pursue a career in tax
• Excellent numerical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer proficient
