Job description
My client set up a specialist de-risking team around 4 years ago. With the market having taken off recently they are now looking to add a number of consultants to the team. The ideal candidates will be a newly or recently qualified pensions actuaries with a knowledge and understanding of de-risking strategies. You must be a self starter with drive and ambition and someone who is able to stand on their own two feet and lead projects from day one. Prospects in this role are outstanding with opportunities to progress only limited by your own ability. In terms of the role, you will provide pensions and investment advice on the use of derivatives to hedge out interest rate, credit and inflation risks and you'll advise on the use of solutions, including bulk purchase annuity buy-ins, buy-outs and longevity risk transfer.
