Our client, a leading local authority are looking for a project manager to lead on a key piece of work around community development and social action.
The successful candidate will have good experience around community development as well as social action along with the following;
Experience
• Experience of working in a complex programme/project environment.
• Experience of directly managing a project team.
• Experience of planning and managing the deployment of project resources to meet project milestones
• Experience in overcoming resistance to change, managing issues and risks and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Personally managed large scale projects and successfully realised a range of benefits.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Experience in gathering, analyzing, and meeting business requirements
• Experience of creating and managing project budgets.
• Solid business experience, with interest in and special knowledge of project management
• Experience of managing budgets to time, cost and quality requirements.
• Experience of performance management of project team individuals.
• Experience of executing risk management/mitigation strategies and plans.
• Experience in building strong working relationships with various parts of a business.
