An opportunity has arisen for an Accountant to join the Regulatory Reporting team of an Large Investment Bank based in the city.
Joining a small team this is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a keen interest in developing their career within Regulatory Reporting to get excellent hands on exposure.
Day to day duties will include:
• Taking responsibility for the production of a number of key management reports including the preparation of a monthly pack to the Capital Committee. The role will also require a contribution to the capital calculation processes within the bank and involvement in a number of projects to improve the controls around existing processes.
• Analyse existing reporting processes to ensure that they are effectively controlled and increasing the efficiency and accuracy of the information produced.
• Production of Pillar 3 reports.
• Provide assistance and cover for the production of FSA returns relating to capital adequacy and concentration risk.
The successful candidate will be ACCA qualified or equivalent and will have prior experience in Regulatory Reporting, ideally within an Investment banking environment.
You will have good working knowledge of capital adequacy gained from working in a Finance function within a bank or investment firm and strong product knowledge covering money markets, capital markets and commodity products is desirable.
