A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Business Analyst to join the Regulatory Change team of a top tier Investment Bank based in the city.

Joining a small team this is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to get exposure to the full project life cycle within the dynamic and constantly evolving regulatory space.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

- Developing a clear understanding of project requirements

- Providing detailed input to the documentation of business requirements.

- Regularly performing detailed reviews of all business requirements, functional specifications etc to ensure all Line requirements are delivered

- Documenting all feedback, tracking their resolution and inclusion in the final signed off documents

- Completing any analysis required to close out issues/questions within the business requirements, liaising with any required experts, such as the Regulatory policy team or credit risk

- Attendance at all relevant project workshops, providing updates from regulatory reporting and escalating any issues pertinent to the project.

- Detailed planning of UAT

- Assisting the line teams in identification and documentation of test scripts

- Co-ordination and involvement in Line UAT to completion

- Input into go live plan, co-ordinating line involvement during actual go live

- Assist the line team in migrating to the new business process post go live

The successful candidate will be ACCA qualified (or equivalent) and will have previously worked as a Regulatory Business Analyst, ideally within an Investment Banking environment.

Prior experience of working in a line Regulatory Reporting function is key, as is a strong working knowledge around the Fiance FSA Regulatory Framework and Basel II regulatory framework.

You will have excellent analytical skills and the ability to take ownership for tasks and then proactively manage work through to completion.

Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) are important and you must feel comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders throughout the organisation. Goodman Masson is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
