One of the largest transport companies globally are currently recruiting for a Senior IT Auditor to join their high profile, expanding Audit team based in West London.
The position will be part of a small IT Audit team that sits in the wider Internal Audit function. The department has recently undergone a restructure, and they are now looking for a Senior IT Auditor to support the newly appointed IT Audit Manager.
Principle accountability's include:
- Plan audits to determine objectives and scope of work to be performed.
- Develop a detailed test programme to support the overall audit objective.
- Document the audit testing to ensure audit objectives are achieved. - Compile, consolidate and prioritise the results of audit testing.
- Discuss audit findings with management and agree appropriate management actions and timeframes for implementation.
- Draft audit findings and proposed management actions for inclusion in the audit report.
This position is part of a small but developing IT Audit team and offers the successful candidate a wide remit and a high level of autonomy. The role offers the candidate lots of exposure to senior management within the business, and so you must be a confident communicator and able to build rapport with ease.
My client is looking for a candidate who is CISA qualified and who has previous IT Audit experience in a blue chip organisation. It is also desirable for the candidate to have prior operational internal audit experience, although this is not a pre-requisite.
