Tax Manager - Nottingham

This global business is offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager to join a household name.
The role
To work with the Head of Tax to ensure the UK companies report accurately to Group Tax / Group Reporting on a monthly basis and for all other budgeting and reporting deadlines.
To work with the Head of Tax to ensure that the corporate tax compliance for the UK companies is completed and tax returns are filed with HMRC within the statutory filing deadlines.
To assist the rest of the Tax Team to identify tax opportunities and resolve tax issues arising from the Group’s business activities.
You:
Strong financial accounting skills and IFRS experience
In-depth knowledge of tax legislation and application to large group of companies
Strong Excel skills
Experience of tax software & financial reporting packages
Good communicator at all levels of the business
Strong team player
Strong work planning & organisational skills
