Tax Manager - Luton

This internationally recognised firm has multiple big-name brands on the market. It is a leading force in its market and prides itself on the performance of its employees. You will be joining their high-achieving tax team in a varied and interested corporate tax role.


The Role

• Manage UK and overseas Corporation tax, ensuring all returns and payments are accurate and on time.
• Dealing with all fiscal authority audits relating to Corporation tax.
• Provide tax charge calculations for inclusion in UK and IFRS reporting packs which are accurate and timely.
• Actively participate and advise on global tax planning projects
• Monitor, give advice on and implement accounting procedures to avoid tax exposures and minimise tax costs.
• Providing analysis for the monitoring of transfer pricing position, eg re thin cap, royalties and product pricing.
• Provide tax advice and tax charge calculations on all project appraisals, where appropriate, with a view to tax minimisation and correct post tax evaluation.
• To provide accurate tax charge and cashflow forecasts for business plans as required.
• Prepare and file CT61 returns for UK Group.
• To ensure robust application of Corporate tax policies.
• To prepare payroll tax information (P11ds and share options)


Qualifications/Experience required

• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent experience
• Thorough understanding of tax accounting under IFRS and UK GAAP
• Knowledge/experience of dealing with Transfer Pricing
• Experience of dealing with HMRC
• Strong technical knowledge of Corporation taxation.
• Proficient software skills (excel, accounting packages, Alphatax)
