Working for Candidates
Good candidates are in great demand – and rightly so. They make the difference between success and failure, wherever they go. But finding a role where they can best leverage their skills involves more than just a crude numbers game.
We help candidates understand what they have to offer, and where and how to apply it to greatest effect. We give them:
- Guidance on career options: opening their eyes to opportunities they may never have considered and helping them to understand the realities and possibilities of the current job market
- Help with CVs: we help candidates say what they need to say, clearly, concisely and in a way that will appeal to clients
- Help with interviews: from preinterview phone conversations with us to post-interview feedback from clients, we help candidates understand how they’re coming across, identify issues they need to address, and help them address them
A little knowledge can go a long way. Some candidates have little experience of the job market, and are unclear about how to properly market themselves: their capabilities, their presentation, even their career aspirations. Without guidance it’s easy to come to uninformed decisions, which can limit future career options.
We help candidates understand what they want, what they have to offer, what they need to learn. We give them full and frank feedback on things that are working for them, or holding them back. Are they too tight-lipped (or inclined to go off at a tangent)? Do they seem nervous and intimidated (or over-familiar)? Do they forget to mention things that matter (or focus on things that don’t)?
We help them identify and express their best: what makes them different; what makes them valuable. We use our knowledge of what clients want to help candidates fine-tune how they present themselves. We help them find the position that really suits them, and the rewards they deserve.
