Wow, what a night at the Award Ceremony

We were shortlisted for 3 of the 5 Awards and were ranked number 2 in ‘The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For’.

A staggering achievement...compounded even further when you consider this was our first year of entry.

I talk a lot about ‘The Experience’ of working at Goodman Masson as I believe we have an opportunity to create a unique business in a very competitive market. This is exactly what we are creating.

One of my strategic aims is to be widely recognised as the number one business to work for in London as I believe a choice of career is important but the environment you work in and the company you work for even more so.

Wednesday night was a significant step forward in achieving this strategic objective. So what exactly happened?

Goodman Masson Celebrate

• We were ranked number 2, the highest ever entry for a newcomer.
• We won the ‘Wellbeing Award’ which is presented to the organisation which provides the most supportive working environment, with an emphasis on relieving stress and improving the work / life balance.
• We were shortlisted for the ‘Innovation in Engagement Award’ which is presented to the organisation with an innovative and creative approach towards employee engagement.
• We were shortlisted for the ‘Best Leader’ Award which is presented to the organisation whose workforce feels that their leader is the most inspirational.
• We were ranked first for fair Deal and Pay that companies offer their staff
• We were ranked first for ‘Everyone is treated fairly’
• We were ranked first for ‘Senior Managers listen rather than tell’
• We were ranked first for the business that supports their local community
  
  And finally...be rest assured I made sure the team enjoyed Champagne and danced into the early hours.

We have a team of 130 here, who continue to build our business and create a very special place to work. Wednesday was part of what we are achieving. For everyone concerned...an enormous thank you!!!!!
