Here at Goodman Masson, we know just how hard you work! So we wanted to share with you some great events that are happening in London this weekend. Check out our Manager, Sheryl's, top picks for this week...

River Walk Market

Whilst the weather’s not looking too great this weekend, (after everyone melting at their desks this week) there are windows of dryness, so for those South Londoners amongst us the River Walk Market would be a lovely foodie option on the bank of the River Thames at Battersea Power Station.

Amazing site and venue, ran by Real Food Festivals and full of independent food and drink producers, artists, designers, street food and live musicians – for free!

Vision for a Queen

If, like me, you feel you didn’t make the most of your Pride outfit and coating yourself in rainbows and glitter for one weekend wasn’t quite enough, then you are in luck. The Pride celebrations are continuing at MoreYoga in Soho with this yoga workshop led by drag queen and Miss Sink The Pink 2019, Bimini Bon Boulash, (who’s known as MoreYoga teacher Tommy Hibbitts out of drag).  Find your inner zen whilst releasing your inner Queen or King – A unique experience in an accepting, loving and judgement-free environment. Beaut.

Museum of the Moon

I think we can all sometimes be guilty of trying to work as hard and fast as we can, rushing through the week and sometimes taking the world around us for granted. If you need a bit of a rain check this weekend, then head down to the Natural History museum for the Museum of the Moon exhibition. Bit arty but also so interesting! There’s a six-metre mode which features detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface, ambient moonlight and an evolving soundscape – the jewellery in the shop downstairs is also pretty good too… and its free! The exhibition, not the jewellery…

No weekend is complete without a big Sunday lunch. If you’re the type of person who will still have a roast on a Sunday come what may – you are welcome:

The Gun - Lamb Shank is the best I’ve ever had.

Knife - Deffo go for a mac ‘n’ cheese as a side – you’ll get food envy from every table otherwise.

Goddards -Best pie and mash – cherry pies are next level to take home and there’s an old school sweet shop next door in the market.
