Here at Goodman Masson, we know just how hard you work! So we wanted to share with you some great events that are happening in London this weekend. Check out our Executive Consultant, Phil Southern's, top picks for this week...
For those who want to start Christmas in October – the ice rink at the Natural History Museum is opening on Friday. If you haven’t fallen over for a while and fancy a long tube ride home with a soggy arse – this is perfect!
While you’re at it, for the ‘culture vultures’ - they have some nice pictures of animals in the Natural History Museum next to the ice rink. Being a lifelong wildlife enthusiast myself - I’m tipping the picture of an angry dog trying to bite a giant squirrelly looking thing for the top award.
If you are feeling a bit skint, and fancy doing your bit for the environment – head into East London for the day. In a bit to ‘clean up the East End’ you can basically swap bags of litter for Booze at nearby pubs.
Simon Rogan can really cook. His main restaurant in the lake district has 2 Michelin stars and is amazing – so no doubt this place in Marylebone is worth a visit if you are into your food. A short tasting menu for £65 is actually pretty good value, and you’ll eat things you never knew existed.
If you’ve ever smoked a cigarette in New York and thrown it on the floor, don’t go to this one…..why you ask? there’ll be a special display by artist Heather Dewey-Hagborg. She took cigarette butts off the streets of Manhattan, harvested & sequenced the DNA, 3D-printed the faces of the people that it belonged to, then hung them up in the gallery. And you thought Coleen Rooney was bad…..
