Upwards of 90% of all the goods we consume have spent some time on a container ship, making the transportation method a crucial component of commercial ecosystems. However, CO2 emissions from container shipping surpass 1 billion tons per year and are expected to rise between 50% and 250% by 2050, necessitating the need for a more efficient way of utilizing these massive ships.

Role:

The engineering team, which is currently around ten people, expects to double in size by the end of the year and is made up of high-caliber people coming from top tech firms such as Palantir, Amazon, and Google. The company utilizes Golang on the backend and ReactJS on the frontend and they are currently looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join their team. New regulations are being introduced in the near future that will drive up fuel costs by as much as 500%, and every company around the world will be looking for ways to avoid passing on these costs to consumers. Maritime start-ups are set to explode once this demand for cost-cutting measures kicks in, and this company is uniquely positioned to take advantage of the

rising requirements. As this happens, scaling the engineering team to work on complex machine learning and real world problems is a priority for the company to handle the influx of interest that is already starting to pour in.

Qualifications:

3-5+ years' experience as a Full Stack Engineer

Computer Science Degree

Experience with: Java, Scala, Golang, ReactJS, Angular
