Accounting & Tax Associate Director, Mid-Tier Firm

Associate Director

Mid-Tier Firm - City

Up to £70,000 + Benefits

Are you an experienced General Practice Manager or Senior Manager looking for clear progression? 4 of my clients current Partners started in this role and due to the progression from this position they are now seeking a new Associate Director to work in an accounting and tax focused role.

You will be spending circa 80% of your time working under one specific general practice Partner- An entrepreneurial, energetic and dynamic Partner that isn't precious about his client portfolio and wants a proactive candidate that can take responsibility and help him grow the client base, eventually handing the portfolio over to you.

The role will be a wide variety of accounting, tax, due diligence, business advisory, business development and staff management, ensuring you are never bored, pigeon-holed or doing the same thing two days in a row!

You will be initially responsible for circa £500k in fees, completely varied in sector and offering you exposure to everything from recruitment companies to film and media clients.

This role would suit a General Practice or Audit/Account Manager with good tax experience, that wants to get rid of the audit side of their role and concentrate on accounting and tax.

*The exposure to due diligence and business development is unique to this role but experience with this isn't required to be considered.

You will also:

  • Be fully ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Have good experience in accounting and general tax
  • Have an interest in tax
  • Be keen to get involved in business development
  • Believe in building long term client relationships
  • Have experience of managing a client portfolio

This is an outstanding opportunity offering an exciting challenge, a diverse client base and brilliant progression prospects. My client is looking to conduct interviews week commencing the 24th, so get in touch to find out more or send your CV in to be considered!
