JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Accounts Payable/Accounts Assistant
Reporting To: Senior accountant
Role:
Working with the Treasury Manager and financial accounting team to manage accounts payable and payments across multiple entities and currencies within the family office.
- Sole responsibility for AP across property and service companies
- Completing both manual and automated invoice processing cycles
- Supporting day-to-day banking procedures - ensuring accuracy of transactions and addressing any discrepancies
- Conducting regular multi-currency and intercompany transactions
- Preparation and posting of payments related to investments and intragroup funding
- Supporting the wider finance function where necessary and taking on ad-hoc responsibilities
- Support to team administrator
Systems:
- SAP
- Excel
- HSBC online banking
Skills:
- Previous experience of accounts payable
- Organised with the ability to manage work across multiple entities
- Good communication skills
- Study support will be provided if required.
- Experience in a small office environment (desired)
- Experience handling multi-currency transactions
- Experience handling intercompany transactions
- An appropriate approach to sensitive/confidential information
