Accounts Payable Assistant - City - 6 month FTC - £25k

We are currently recruiting for a 6 month fixed term contract based in the city of London. The role is an Accounts Payable Assistant role.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Obtaining approval from relevant departments for each invoice.
  • Setting up and Maintaining Vendor Cards.
  • Matching payments to invoices and Reconciling Purchase ledger accounts.
  • Maintaining process of receiving and recording authorised invoices through an accurate filling system.
  • Raising recharges invoices to suppliers as needed.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries
  • Producing timely and accurate aged Creditor reports.
  • Maintaining an accurate historical filling system
  • Maintaining process of receiving and recording authorised invoices through an accurate filling system.
  • Ad-hoc tasks relating to purchase ledger.

Candidates are required to have experience of the above duties and be able to start a role ASAP.
