Actuarial Analyst

A growing life insurer are keen to hire an actuarial student to joining their finance function in a very diverse role which will give you exposure across the business to their wider valuations team, to develop their modelling framework, and to take an active role in the development of their pricing processes. Ideally you will have strong programming skills in a system such as Python, R or Matlab (this could be from your University degree). It would be beneficial if you have worked in a role at another insurer either in a valuations or data focused role, although outstanding graduates will be considered if you have relevant programming skills or if you have worked in a relevant role outside of actuarial work and are looking to make the transition.

This role will offer excellent commercial exposure across the business and will give you the chance to understand how all aspects of the actuarial function operate which will offer you the chance to take your career forwards in a number of different directions.
