Goodman Masson are currently working with a sports and leisure business based in South West London. The role is looking for a senior finance executive with at least 2 years experience, ideally supervising, and is paying £35,000. Someone studying CIMA is a preference.


  • Ensure that the books of prime entry are accurate and up to date at all times. Ensuring that levels of authorization are met and entries coded correctly
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the preparing and running of the weekly payment run, incorporating both cheque and BACs payments. Agreed credit terms must be adhered to. Ensuring timely delivery to line manager for review and to ensure bank restrictions can be met
  • Reconcile supplier accounts
  • Ensure Aged Debtors are collected in a timely manner
  • Handling queries from suppliers and staff regarding purchase and sales ledger information
  • Input and return payroll information to the Payroll bureau on ad hoc basis
  • Carry out other duties and responsibilities of a similar nature which may be required from time to time
  • Answering queries on credit cards platforms


  • part qualified. Working towards a CIMA qualification
  • a minimum of two years experience in a similar role. Preferably from a hospitality or leisure background
  • experience of managing a small team

  • computer literate and confident in MS Excel; Word and Outlook.
