Assistant Financial Controller

Assistant Financial Controller | Telecoms company | £90-100k

This global telecoms organisation seeks an Assistant Financial Controller who is fully qualified (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) and is keen to learn and progress their career within finance.

Additionally they must have a strong and in-depth understanding of IFRS and US GAAP accounting principals, coupled with a robust technical accounting background. These qualifications are essential in navigating the complexities of financial regulations and ensuring the utmost accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. This role will be integral to the success of the finance function.

A successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of managing or supervising at least one individual, showcasing leadership skills that inspire and drive team performance. The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels is paramount.

The role also includes:

• Liaising with external auditors and being the main point of contact with queries
• Running the month end close
• Oversees cash-flow forecasting
• Managing day to day finance operations

Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office (London)
