Permanent Position Required: BI Business Partner Manager – Data Analytics
I am partnered with an Arm’s Length Body of the NHS who are looking for a BI Business Partner Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
The organisation has a significantly increased need for a data analysis provision to support the delivery of its strategic aims to help the NHS learn from claims and increase operational effectiveness.
The role will include supporting the functions of the company through the production of performance, reporting, management information and data in relation to the delivery of change programme and projects.
Location: London
Travel requirements: 2 days on-site needed a week
Salary: £60,000
The BI Business Partner Manager will:
- Manage the communication of highly complex, highly sensitive and potentially contentious information such as early notification scheme data and safety and learning data within Data Analytics
- Manage the relationship with senior stakeholders and ensure that their strategic data and analytical needs are understood
- Oversee the production of data analysis for publication in the company’s Annual Report, for external parties and for its website
- Ensure the delivery of business intelligence and/or data related products, tools, and techniques to support the ongoing operations and strategic direction of the organisation
- Liaise with a range of staff and external bodies to identify their requirements and tailor analysis and reports accordingly.
- Build links with analytical teams in the wider health service to ensure sharing of ideas, skills, and best practice
- Contribute to the organisational business plans and strategy in conjunction with the Head of Business Intelligence and the wider organisation
- Manage the development of organisational Management Information in conjunction with the wider BI team and the organisation
The BI Business Partner Manager will have:
- Educated to Masters’ Degree level or equivalent relevant experience in the analysis of data
- Intermediate level of VBA and SQL coding
- Intermediate Level of MS Access, Word, Outlook, Visio, Excel, and SharePoint
- Intermediate reporting experience in SSRS
- Experience of using Tableau or Power BI for reporting and analysis
- Experience of designing and producing a variety of reporting tools and analytics
- Proven ability to work with operational teams to identify data problems and agree negotiated outcomes/actions
- Extensive experience of working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to understand their reporting and analysis requirements
- Ability to identify underlying problems by analysing information and suggest effective solutions
- Experience of working with and combining data contained within different data sources
- An understanding of information governance and relevant legislation
