Billing Specialist

I am currently working with a great longstanding client of mine in the professional services space, who are seeking a Billing Specialist to join their growing EMEA team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Billing Manager the role will involve managing the full billing cycle for a collection of global blue-chip clients. This is a superb opportunity for someone with 2-4 years of billing experience, either as a pure biller or as part of a larger role, to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure client contracts and engagements are correctly loaded onto SAP
• Manage end-to-end client billing for specific offices
• Enhance billing processes and transactions
• Assist field teams and collaborate with fee earners on complex queries
• Provide training to new team members and support less experienced colleagues
• Prepare and review internal audit documentation
• Participate in month-end close processes

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous Billing experience, preferably in Professional Services or media.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in a second European language is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar business-wide accounting systems.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Professional and confident demeanour with client relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Committed, bright, numerate, and enthusiastic.
• Team player excelling in a multitasking, deadline-driven environment.
