An Asset Manager in the West End if London is looking for a Business Analyst to work on a Performance Attribution project. Experience / knowledge of Performance Attribution and / or Investment Risk is key.

Specifically, the Business Analyst will be tasked with identifying limitations on data sources feeding into the Performance Attribution system and work on implementing solutions. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Data analysis of a number of data sources feeding the Performance Attribution system (Fund Accounting / Bloomberg PORT)
  • Generate reports on data quality issues. Document issues and liaising with IT and BAU Performance team to rectify
  • Perform functional testing and coordinate business user acceptance testing
  • Coordinate and lead meetings / workshops etc.

To apply for this role, you will need experience of working with a range of business teams including Front Office, Operations and Technology. Additionally, you will have experience of delivering projects in the Asset Management space and have exposure to performance attribution / investment risk. You will have knowledge of Fixed Income products (Bonds, Swaps, ETDs, FX, Loans etc.) - particularly in relation to data attributes and have a good understanding of the front-to-back trade lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience of SimCorp Dimension and / or Charles River.
