Goodman Masson are searching for a Candidate Researcher to join their Actuarial recruitment team. You will be joining a high performing team as a Researcher with an initial focus of generating new candidates and assisting our team to place these highly specialised professionals in companies across the UK.
In order to find the best candidates you will spend the majority of your time headhunting. This involves using our database and other sources to identify actuaries with the right level of experience. To get through to them you will need to be comfortable cold calling, introducing yourself and then try to persuade them to engage with you in a conversation about their career options.
In order to be a success, you will need to make regular phone calls with candidates to source for an abundance of different roles our clients mandate us with. You will also need to engage with candidates in face to face meetings to get to know their personality as this is key information that our clients want to know.
Over time you will build up your candidate pool and will need to sell the opportunities that we are working on to them. Once they are interested you will start the recruitment process of sending their CV to a live role. If they have the right skillset they will be invited for an interview and it will be up to you to guide them through that process from preparation, to getting their feedback and then the most exciting part… offers and closing the deal!
