I am currently working on a Capital Actuary role with leading a London Market specialist Insurer. This is a rare opportunity for an Actuary to make the move from Pensions to Insurance!

They are continuing to build out their Capital team and are interested in bringing on individuals from a Pensions background to do so. This role is open to part or fully qualified Actuaries with 3-5 years of experience in pensions and/ or insurance.

You will get involved in:

• Maintaining and developing models to reflect the risk profile
• Working on the capital model to ensure that it meets the Solvency II standards in relation to planning, governance, documentation and testing
• Preparing the internal Capital Assessments

This role presents the opportunity to gain exposure to varied syndicates and models such as CAT, asset and Cyber modelling.

Knowledge and experience with SQL, VBA, MS Excel 2007, MS Access 2007, and additional statistical soft wares is advantageous.
