About the role:

We have partnered with a leading multinational construction, property, investment company. They are looking for a Finance & Commercial partner to join their team.

Location – Central London. Hybrid.

Salary – £30-45k


· Coordinate the preparation of Commercial Reports, purchasing reports, receipts and acknowledgement of materials and supplies to contribute to the preparation of BU (Business Unit) reporting by senior management staff.

· Coordinate the commercial review process.

· Set up and manage POs (Purchase Order) in Oracle making sure invoices are properly receipted working in collaboration with the Accounts Payable and Receivable team.

· Manage project billing – this includes liaising with the project managers to raise invoices and manage the business’s aged debt.

· Administer project set up process – this involves working closely with the Finance Manager, Project Manager, and other key stakeholders to complete the project paperwork and correctly set up in the project in the Finance System.

· Submit monthly project forecast in the Finance System following the commercial review meetings.

· Support the project management team with ad-hoc commercial queries

· Support the implementation and maintenance of proper documentation, systems, and processes to deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness of site administration processes and service for stakeholders, ensuring activities comply with legislative and statutory regulations.

· Liaison with external suppliers to manage the efficient provision of services as directed and within defined parameters.

· Coordination of, and contribution to, the preparation of contracts, ensuring all necessary documentation is distributed and processed, all amendments are accurately recorded, and appropriate approval and sign off is provided to support efficient site management activities

Knowledge, skills & experience required

· Relevant tertiary qualifications in a construction or financial discipline.

· Excel capabilities and MS Suite

· Strong stakeholder management skills.

· Good attention to detail.

· Experience with Oracle would be preferred.

· Interpersonal skills to prepare reports and build relationships with key stakeholders.

· May have experience in contractual management, an understanding of commercial considerations and/or knowledge of Construction/Consulting industries.

· Problem solving and analytical skills for resolving commercial issues.
