A US listed FMCG business is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to work as a business partner predominantly to Sales. The Commercial Finance Manager will work closely with Sales Directors, Commercial and Account Management teams to drive understanding into profitability of the various product lines.
This individual will play a key role in supporting the negotiation of contracts by providing insightful analysis and MI to highlight the financial impacts of various pricing strategies. Therefore, this Commercial Finance Manager position is a high profile role and will provide the incumbent with a fantastic opportunity to influence the strategy of the organisation.
In addition, the Commercial Finance Manager will lead the long term strategic plan, monthly revenue forecasting and the periodic budgeting processes. Ultimately this individual will seek to improve understanding of the key drivers of the P&L in order to deliver the overall Net sales, Gross Profit and EBITDA target. Alongside the core requirements of the role, the role holder will also be expected to proactively seek out improvements in processes, analysis, insightful reporting and identifying commercial opportunities.
The ideal profile will be a qualified accountant (CIMA / ACA or equivalent) with post-qualified experience in a similar role. Exposure to the FMCG or consumer sectors would be hugely advantageous.
