Commercial finance manager

A FTSE leading retailer is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified candidate to join its finance function.

You’ll be the finance lead for Digital & Technology, responsible for business partnering and providing insight to Senior Leadership across Finance and other directorates.

This is a broad role as the business starts on its transformation programmes.

Main duties include:

-Develop insightful analysis to track progress against the strategic programme plans, working closely with the programme leads to provide transparency over progress including risks & opportunities.

– Lead FP&A for Digital & Technology for these areas, partnering the Finance Director and FP&A teams by translating into a clear story to drive understanding of risks & opportunities and enable choices.

-Business partner to Digital & Technology leadership, providing commercial insight & challenge to drive effective decisionmaking

-Support and challenge on investment business cases, ensuring the financials are robust

-Leading 3 Year Plan and Budget

-Responsible for accurate and timely cost & benefits reporting on a monthly basis

-Partner the contract and procurement teams bringing commercial insight and challenge to all new contracts & renewals.

You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in finance business partnering. Experience working in a consumer or customer focused business would be highly desirable.
