Compliance Director – Regulatory Reporting Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Advise on and monitor regulatory reporting obligations in gas and power markets across EMEA.
• Assess and report on regulatory reporting obligations for EMEA Exchanges.
• Support operations team in implementing advisory and technical reporting solutions.
• Assist in developing and monitoring surveillance systems.
• Analyse documentation and reports, preparing responses and compliance-related documentation.
• Proactively identify compliance trends and collaborate to improve procedures, processes, and education materials.
• Analyse business processes, identifying compliance and efficiency improvements.
• Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, addressing compliance queries.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Commodity-related experience (trading, risk management, compliance).
• Exposure to Gas, Power, Metals Environmental, and Petroleum markets preferred, with expertise in two or more commodities.
• Knowledge of REMIT, EMIR, FinFrag, and MiFID.
• Experience with trade surveillance programs/systems, data evaluation, and reporting.
• Specific experience with physical energy regulators, financial authorities, TSOs, and EU commodity exchanges.
• Familiarity with Exchange Market Regulations and Rules for surveillance analytics and reporting.
