Following a very successful 24 months, a new Actuarial Consultant role has been created within the Life Practice of a well established consultancy based in the Midlands. This consultancy offers a variety of services including ALM, capital management, pricing, with profits modelling, SII and IFRS17 implementation.

From day one you will take ownership of complex projects and be responsible for building relationships with clients such as Life Insurers, Asset Managers and Investment Banks. Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of Life Insurance principles is essential.

In order to be considered, you will be a newly qualified actuary with relevant experience in the life insurance sector. You will be confident in holding credible conversations with senior c-suite stakeholders and be a natural problem solver. Your background can be in any area including reporting, capital management, with profits, unit linked, protection, longevity, pricing or risk and you will have an interest in systems and modelling. Previous experience in consultancy is not essential as this is not a billing role.

There is very little travel required and the company encourage a good work life balance so there is no expectation for long and unsociable hours.
