Working for an exciting, high growth business based in the West End on a 6 month fixed term contract, this credit controller role will have multiple functions, splitting time collecting overdue sums for clients across the portfolio whilst also creating daily/weekly reports for the wider finance team.

Duties include chasing debt via phone and email, generating collection and debt profile reports using multiple data sources, sending account statements, and liaising with the billing co-ordinators in order to resolve queries that will enable incoming funds. You will balance the urgency of cash collection with a keen eye for detail and provide the business timely analysis and insight on the client base

  • Calling clients with an overdue balance, taking note of payment dates or any issues the client may be having
  • Taking payments via credit/debit card
  • Sending account statements where applicable
  • Creating daily and weekly debt reports
  • Adhoc reporting as and when required
  • Reporting changes in circumstances for key clients
  • Liaising with the billing team to ensure a swift resolution that will expedite payment
  • Providing feedback on problematic clients in a timely manner
  • Performing system and balance investigation should clients claim payment has been made
  • Adhoc project work determined by the wider finance team

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Good MS Excel and ERP system knowledge
  • Previous experience in credit control
  • Previous experience in report generation
  • Ability to manipulate multiple data sources in order to create reports
  • 2 years or more in a similar role
