An Employee Benefits Financial services business are currently looking for a data analyst them on a permanent basis in their Redhill office.

The successful candidate will be joining their Wellbeing function, using analytics to help employers understand the underlying health risks with-in their workforce, and the impact of their current wellbeing initiatives.

You will be responsible for;

  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in health & wellbeing datasets for both specific clients and wider wellbeing research
  • Create compelling and informative wellbeing reports and dashboards for data storytelling; communication of analytics and insight to businesses and clients
  • Support clients in developing their employee wellbeing strategies and programmes including both organisational and employee facing initiatives
  • Manager the wellbeing provider matrix in terms of assessment of services, relationship management, and specific client sourcing needs and introduction
  • Bring new ideas and support the development and enhancement of our wellbeing solution
  • Conduct client wellbeing audits covering all elements of Culture, Environment & Individuals
  • Develop client project plans and manage day to day communications and work
  • Fully document processes, models, calculation specifications, and tools in a detailed and readily auditable way
  • Develop and produce wellbeing and health insurance benchmarking reports, and health insurance projections to support benefits consultants
  • Include robust checks and error handling in all work, and identify any coding or calculation issues for which solutions need to be developed
  • Adhere to all relevant compliance and legislation requirements

The sucessful candidate will have the following;

  • A passion for health & wellbeing, behaviour change, and building innovative client solutions
  • An understanding and believe in using data to solve real-world problems
  • Proactive, and a self-starter
  • An excellent communicator, presenter and report writer; able to deliver technical content in plain English
  • A drive to continue to learn and keep up to date with new research, innovations, and developments in health and wellbeing
  • You will be able to demonstrate experience of:
    • Working with varied data sets including validation, cleansing and analysis
    • Usage of Excel at least an intermediate level
    • Interpreting the results of analysis in terms of insights and potential impacts
    • Keeping pace with a developing environment and applying existing knowledge in a new context
    • Constructively challenging existing processes and methods
  • Demonstrable experience in the following would also be desirable but not essential:
    • Client relationship management
    • Provider relationship management
  • Educated to degree level or above in a field including mathematical, statistical, and/or health, psychology or wellbeing content
