Data Protection Manager

Permanent Position Required: Data Protection Manager

We are partnered with a small organisation in the Housing industry who are looking for a Data Protection Manager to oversee all GDPR matters, providing assurance and mitigate data security risks.

You will support the team and oversee the management of implementing data security policies, procedures, controls and guidance.

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 + up to 30% performance bonus and excellent benefits!

Remote working

Location: London offices

The Data Protection Manager will: 

• Manage Data security and protection across the organisation, identifying and managing areas that need reviewing
• Improve the use and collection of data and develop policies and procedures to support this
• Manage the Data Sharing Register, Incident Log, Data activity reporting and breach escalations process
• Ensure full compliance with GDPR, creating and enforcing policies for effective data management to ensure this is upheld
• Implement approach to data collection for SAR’s and any Breach Reporting commitments
• Manage and support the organisation surrounding RPA and DPIA, ensuring compliance control implementation and validation
• Ensure core data privacy control processes are operating effectively
• Oversee investigations into data breaches and ensure appropriate escalations occur
• Spearhead GDPR across the organisation to operate a culture of data security and compliance
• Be the legislative expert across GDPR matters

The successful Data Protection Manager will have:

• Expertise across GDPR
• Frequently advised and influenced stakeholders
• Worked on upholding good data quality and information security principles in a company
