An Academy Trust with school's across Buckinghamshire and London are looking to recruit a Deputy Director of Finance and Operations as soon as possible. The purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of outstanding operations across a number of academies. The role is designed for a high performing, impact driven person who is able to co-ordinate activity across multiple schools, providing efficient and effective operational services so that educational staff can maintain a core, unrelenting focus on teaching and learning.
The role requires a professional accounting qualification, you will need to be able to motivate and bring together a team of operational staff to ensure that you work as one regional team in ensuring value for money, policy compliance, budget adherence and opportunities to generate income across the region.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, who is accountable to the Chief Operating Officer (Deputy CEO), this post holder will be accountable for the operational outcomes within their region, and as such will performance and line manage key personnel in the various operational areas.
