Permanent Position Required: Digital Content and Channels Manager

A large NfP organisation are looking for a Digital Content and Channels Manager to manage the strategy, implementation and delivery of content and digital channels.

You will lead a team in delivering all digital communication, social media strategy, and engagement campaigns.

Location: London

Salary: £49,000 – £55,000 + excellent benefits!

Agile / Hybrid working – 1 day on site per week

As a Digital Content and Channels Manager, you will:

  • Lead on digital communications and social media strategy and implementation, such as Twitter, LinkedIn, podcasts, videos and websites
  • Utilise specialist knowledge and skills to increase the impact of digital content and channels among various audiences.
  • Develop the organisation’s digital communications and social media plans to ensure that the external messages are consistent across all channels
  • Leading the digital team to deliver campaigns, with a strong understanding of audience, messaging, insight and evaluation
  • Analyse digital communications impact and effectiveness.
  • Manage digital channels and provide advice to those creating content and how best to integrate channels
  • Support the wider business partnering team with a variety of day-to-day requests, as well as longer term projects, including website stories and internal communications projects
  • Oversee and operate the content management systems for the website, keeping the site updated both directly
  • Ensure that all online content is reviewed and maintained, supporting departments to develop and maintain content
  • Capture and share user feedback on the digital channels to improve their usability, design and content, and to ensure they meet the needs of the organisation
  • Take ownership and accountability of all social media use and maximise the exposure and reputation management for the organisation

A successful Digital Content and Channels Manager will have:

  • Experience managing a digital team preferably through line or project management
  • Developed and implemented digital strategies
  • Worked on a range of digital channels with various target audiences
  • Strong communications and stakeholder skills
